Customer Reviews

“New to backpacking. Tried several backpacks at REI. This bag was every bit as comfortable as some of the $250+ packs I was fit for. I’m a big guy and had concerns about the fit. 6’2” 255 with a 38 inch waist. It fits great. Hip belt transfers the weight beautifully to my legs and keeps the strain away from my shoulders and back. Packed it with 30 lbs and went 5 miles to test it on day 1. Not the least bit of trouble. “

“Generally love this backback. It simply can’t be beat at this price point. It packed everything needed for a multiday adventure, and this one was big enough. Also this had better lumbar support and carried the weight better. “

Jessica Barley, Amazon Customer Review

I have had this pack for three months and have used it lots of time through several wilderness 4 to 6 day backpacking trips. My 8 lb. winter bag easily straps on to the pack.I use the sleeping bag compartment for other items when winter backpacking. I plan on buying another one as a spare pack.
